Self promotion? Self obsession? The need of constant affirmation from other people? Self indulgence? A feeling of superiority over people who aren't as smart as you? Starting a cult of people just like you? google making more money? A good chance to show the world just how great you really are? voyeurism?
Not that there is ANYTHING wrong with any of those things... No Australia hasn't made me more negative and pessimistic. It's just given me the geographical challenge of keeping in touch with those not evil people who are hiding amongst all the "evil" Americans.
