I slept on your question, and still dont seem to have an adequate anser.. I cant even think of any questions.. Maybe prayer is just an attempt to make sense out of meaningless suffering : (
I don't think that most suffering is meaningless. I often think there are very strong meanings in it. A lot of people who are starving starve because of corrupt governments who withhold food to controll the people... but that's a whole nother subject I could crap on about for hours... Not to say that I think I've even begun to understand it all...I have theorys on everything, but don't clame to "know" much of anything...

I agree with you, I think suffering is where we really find lifes meaning... But there seems to be some conflicted theology there... for some..
