Things are going well here. Plugging along. Our
church community has multiplied into another house
church making 3 total. Our little group left in
Footscray is working out what the next season
look like for us. We have the same community things
as before, just wondering what more we can do to love
people in this area. We still meet every Sunday
morning for breakfast and then a chat, we have
community dinner on Tues. night, prayer on Thurs.
night. We all live quiet close now except one lady
who is about a 15 min drive away.
We have been shifting rooms around to fit more people
in these two houses that us and Chris have. Nick is
next door now and a girl named Jess has moved in with
us. She got kicked out of another community and had
no where to go. We wanted her to come here, so she did.
I'm still mosaicing two days a week in the morning. I
get called into the cafe on an occasion to fill in
(they are pregnant again!). I'm still involved in the
Ascot Vale community called the Cave. I'm there on
Sundays with a beautiful bunch of people. I try to
head down on a Tue or Thurs for the drop in center.
"Try" being the key word there. I get busy running
around.
I have a few friends that I'm accountable to and meet
with once a week (when we can). I'm brain
storming with another friend on doing some youth
program during school holidays for kids in the area.
We want to do an art project... thinking
about that one.
John has been doing heaps of guest speaking. Last
weekend we went out to the state youth games where
there were 2,500 kids. I've never seen anything like
it in OZ. My back was out and I hobbled around like a
100 year old lady. I hated it, but John did good. I
went home early.
We have a guest speaker staying with us right now, Jarrod McKenna.
He is amazing, and I'll put a link on here to what he is
doing, or you can just google his name.

We are driving to Brisbane next weekend for a road
trip to the "Christian anarchist conference" with 10
people in our group. It's a 22 hour drive one way!!
:) crazy.
here's some info on that;

we will also stay the night in a community in Brisbane and
some of our girls will stay behind to do a week long course.

My girls are doing exams right now and stressed to
the gills. They are getting great grades, and want to
keep that up. Their passion for nursing is getting
greater as they want to go overseas and help.
There is another conference coming up next month and
the speaker is staying with us again. (very full
house). He is Shane Clabourne the author of
"The Irrisitable Revolution". His book is a must read.

In two weeks we are leading a discussion on being in
ministry with children. People around here aren't
sure what it looks like to do both.
We will be coming next April for John's brother
Keith's wedding! That can't come soon enough :)
OK, I think that's enough info :)
Heaps of Love,
